Yaideliz is originally from Fajardo, Puerto Rico. She received her B.S. in General Biology from the University of Puerto Rico and is now pursuing her MPH, concentrating in Epidemiology at Brown University School of Public Health.
Yaideliz’s research interests include health disparities, women’s health (i.e., endometriosis, reproductive health, & cervical cancer), minority health, and global health. In the Social Epi lab, she works as a research assistant on Project G-SPACE and Greenspace and Pregnancy. In her free time, Yaideliz enjoys listening to Caribbean music and dancing to salsa.
