Naomi Zeltzer

Research Assistant

Naomi Zeltzer (she/her) is a Rhode Islander who graduated with honors from Vassar College in 2021, receiving a double Bachelor of Arts in Greek and Roman Studies and Women, Feminist, and Queer Studies. Her undergraduate work culminated in a senior thesis titled "The 'Cure' is the Affliction: Pregnancy and Childbirth as Healing and Harming in Ancient Greek Gynecology."

After graduating, she worked for the East Providence Health Equity Zone as a Certified Community Health Worker (CCHW) and is interested in further exploring the intersections of reproductive, family, childhood, and environmental health. Naomi is currently in her volunteership to become a URI Master Gardener and is excited to start planting in her new home garden and around the community.
